Debbie On Fashion -- An accessory that can change your look and enhance your shape  --- THE BELT !

Belts can truly whittle your waist or elongate your legs worn properly. Here are a few tips when choosing to boost your style with a belt:

* Choose a belt that is proportioned to your size. If you are petite, choosing a skinnier belt is most flattering. If you are taller choose a belt with more width. Wearing clothing and choosing the right accessory is about balance and proportion.

* If you are petite - a monochromatic outfit will give the illusion of height. Add a belt at the waist, worn over a sweater or blouse, suddenly your legs look longer!

* If you want to create a waistline - cinch your blouse or cardigan at the waist with a belt to create curve.

* If you are shortwaisted - you can lengthen your torso by wearing a belts that drop a bit below the waist.

Having great style is all about having great confidence. Try adding a belt to your outfits and feel more confident about your LOOK ! You deserve it!

Carolyn On Fitness -- If you have done several diets only to lose weight but then regain the weight, realize you will need to understand that diets don't address the root causes of why people are overweight and in turn success rates are minimal. Yes, you may have to count calories and eat the right foods in the right portion to some extent as part of your plan, but that should not be the only emphasis of weight loss. A new approach needs to take place including a comprehensive plan that will change your way of thinking, living, and moving every day. A lifestyle overhaul may not be fast and easy, but the rewards will be great and the only way to finally keep the weight off.

Lisa on Design -- Looking for a unique wall application? Consider fabric panels! Fabric upholstered on the walls framed in simple mouldings will surely be a ‘wow’!  These panels are perfect for any space needing sound absorption, dining rooms or great rooms for example.

Did you know that you can control your hormones with what you eat and how you live your life? You’re not destined to have symptoms like hot flushes, fatigue, low libido and weight gain just because you’re getting a little bit older! Here’s a simple tip to start balancing your own hormones:

When faced with a stressful situation, stop and take 5 slow, deep breaths into your belly. This will lower your cortisol levels and allow you to respond rather than react. It also brings more oxygen to your brain so you can think more clearly.
